Water Activator

In your notebook respond to the following questions-be through in your response

1.  What are some characteristics of water?  Think about color, shape, smell, and other unique qualities.

2.  How do organisms use water to live and grow?

On a daily basis I start and end my lessons with some type of assessment.  My warm-ups are used to activate my students to think about the content we will be discussing, and they often time serve the additional purpose of revealing misunderstandings (in addition to those revealed during unit preassessments.)   The exit cards are used to summarize the content covered through the days lesson and divulge confusions.  Both serve as guides to me in my unit and day to day lesson planning.
