As a Science Teacher I strive to teach the content by doing science. I feel that when students experience
science they are more apt to enjoy the class and remember the concepts. I incorporate labs, demonstrations, hands on
activities, and inquiry experiences. In this photograph I am holding a burning cashew and discussing energy with
my students. This demo kicked off our cellular energy unit, and my students were involved, engaged, and curious
about the content.
