            Assumed teaching responsibilities in Biology, Anatamy and

            Guided summer trails program for DC students at Great Falls, NP, MD

               Prepared and delivered a three month technical training for new volunteers. 

               Ascertained technical objectives, instructional plans, and evaluation tools.

2002         West Africa.

                Taught ecological concepts and administered relevant activities and

                curriculum.  Developed community based trainings on various agro-forestry

                and gardening techniques

 

1997-         Trail Crew Leader.   Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, Vermont.

1999          Led an intensive wilderness program that encouraged self-growth in high 

                 school students through conservation projects.  Coordinated back country  

                 logistics and employed an outdoor education curriculum.

 

1996           Wilderness Instructor.  Trailmark Outdoor Adventures, Montana.

             Guided backpacking treks for high school students.  Incorporated

             experiential lessons on ecology

 

1996        Environmental Educator.  Rock Eagle 4-H Center, Georgia.

 Designed and taught ecologically focused, interactive classes, for

 elementary age students.  Courses pertained to wetland ecology,

 forest biology, and wildlife conservation.

1995           Planned and managed after school tutorial/recreation program for middle

                  school students.  Directed service learning program for a middle school

                  leadership organization.

  principles, such as Forest Sciences, Marine Biology, and  Wildlife Biology.

   Participant in 30-day leadership expedition in the Canyon lands of Utah
